Many thanks to Adam Johnson of ARJ Photography for allowing us to profile his Best of 2015 Wedding Photography. Adam is an awarding wedding photographer based in Cheshire, who was named regional winner at The Wedding Industry Awards this year: North West Wedding Photographer of the Year.
In the wedding world I watched some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met transform from bride and groom to husband and wife before my very eyes. I’ve been to all sorts of new places on these shores and abroad. I’ve eaten Michelin starred food, been epically covered in mosquito bites, been stung through my trousers by superpower nettles, and had some of the best end-of-wedding hugs ever. And I’ve smiled and laughed. So much.
In February, Adam, co-taught two super fun workshops and was part of the team that launched NineDots. In November Adam, Rahul Khona, Mick Shah and Andy Gaines hosted the first NineDots Gathering with some of the most influential wedding photographers from the UK and abroad providing inspiration and education to an audience of 125 wedding photographers. Then they threw a mega party for everyone! And it’s all happening again next year!
