Many thanks to Aaron Storry for his submission.
2015 was an incredible year! A year of self improvement, reflection and growth. My focus is always to capture genuine real moments in a fun, creative and original way, and that’s exactly what I did. I told my couple’s stories from the inside out and close up, shooting all of my wedding in this way so my couple’s can look back with their children and re-live the day from this beautifully intimate perspective.
Continually coming up with alternative idea’s for how to get things done, I added variety and interest to my 2015 photography by creating pictures through unconventional means.
I was primed and prepared for anything and I appreciated that a wedding is an organic event which often changes from the plan! I was mindful, present and ready to respond to anything and everything; my rule is to expect the unexpected and I thrive on shooting the small intimate gestures that you only experience when you’re in the moment.
I was also completely fearless! I’ve learned and evolved through trial and error and as my career has progressed I’ve found myself being less afraid to try out new idea’s in the pursuit of creating something original and special.
