2015 was a phenomenal year for me because it’s when I followed my heart and began to specialise in what I truly love photographing – elopements and tiny weddings on the Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands.
At the start of the year I had no idea that I’d end up working with 65 incredible couples but that’s what 2015 brought me – amazing clients from all over the world.
When you are working predominantly outside, you are at the mercy of the weather but thankfully the year passed without too many rain issues although Loch Coruisk weddings proved a little difficult here and there with the wind! There is such a diverse range of landscapes where I work; dramatic, high cliffs, secret sandy coves, green woodland and tranquil lochs – Skye really is the place for a romantic wedding!
I’m really looking forward to seeing what 2016 has to offer and to possibly discovering some new incredible locations for my clients.
