Janette and Andy’s wedding at Alderley Edge Hotel Cheshire was one of those lovely ones where I already seemed to know a few people, and clicked easily into place. It started with a recommendation, as I’d done several weddings for a family who are old friends with Janette’s. This is one of the nice things about being a wedding photographer – people appear to remember me and like what I do!
We began the day with preparation photos at Janette’s Mum’s house in Stockport, before going on to the church for the ceremony itself. The rain did its best, but couldn’t dampen the spirit of the day one bit. The wedding ceremony – and wedding photography – went off without a hitch (well, just the obvious one), and we went on to Alderley Edge Hotel for the reception.
Once there, a short gap in the rain provided enough time to get a group photo of everyone out of an upstairs window. Alderley Edge Hotel is a really lovely venue anyway, so there were no complaints about being inside much of the time.
While I have a habit of saying I’ve had a great time at a wedding, it’s all true. A fantastic day and a fantastic couple. If you’re getting married in Cheshire, I’d love to talk to you about photographing your Alderley Edge Wedding Photography.
Enjoy the wedding photos 🙂
